Notice is hereby given that REPUBLIC ENERGY, LLC, 4101 SLATE DRIVE, SCARBRO, WV 25917 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number S300115 in order to add 13.79 acres and delete 2.66 acres from the existing permit area in order to add an equipment laydown and parking area along the Haulroad near the western boundary of the permit area, and to modify the drainage and sediment control in several areas to better serve the area.
The revised permit will discharge into UNNAMED TRIBUTARIES OF WORKMAN CREEK, WORKMAN CREEK, UNNAMED TRIBUTARIES OF STOVER FORK, STOVER FORK, AND UNNAMED TRIBUTARIES OF CLEAR FORK OF BIG COAL RIVER OF COAL RIVER; AND UNNAMED TRIBUTARIES OF WINGROVE BRANCH, WINGROVE BRANCH, UNNAMED TRIBUTARIES OF DILLON BRANCH, DILLON BRANCH, UNNAMED TRIBUTARIES OF BLACKBURN BRANCH, BLACKBURN BRANCH OF SANDLICK CREEK OF MARSH FORK OF BIG COAL RIVER OF COAL RIVER of Kanawha River and is located 4.23 miles southwest of Clear Creek in the Clear Fork District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81deg. 21′ 04″ and Latitude 37deg. 51′ 16″ (Coordinates from USGS topographic Map.
