Notice is hereby given that CLEAR FORK COAL COMPANY, 370 PACKSVILLE/MARFORK ROAD, PO BOX 457, WHITESVILLE, WV 25209 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a Phase III release on Permit Number S014278 issued for 483.46 acres.
The permit is located in Clear Fork District of Raleigh County, 4.0 miles south of Clear Creek on Unnamed tributaries of Stover Fork of/and Clear Fork and Dillon Branch and Blackburn Branch of Sandlick Branch all of Marsh Fork of Big Coal River of Kanawha River.
Clear Fork Coal Company completed Vegetation on April 13, 2007 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $65,400.00.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above January 11, 2020, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
