AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Greenbrier County Solid Waste Authority has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Construction Permit for a sanitary landfill facility located on 475 Landfill Road , near Lewisburg in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are 37.818, -80.380.
The permit is to allow installation of solar gas flares to combust vented landfill gas emissions from the facility.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be:
NOx – 2.34 tons/year
CO – 9.80 tons/year
PM – 1.01 Tons/year
VOC – 0.129 tons/year
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of May, 2020. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
