AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application

Notice is given that Keyrock Energy LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Construction Permit for a mine gas flaring facility located near Cedar Rd, Crab Orchard, in Raleigh County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 37.737062, -81.216586

The purpose of the pollution control facility is to significantly reduce the current emission of harmful Greenhouse Gases into the atmosphere. The facility will reduce the equivalent of 190,000 tons of CO2 each year of operation. The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants to be: NOx – 37.44 ton/year; CO – 93.64 ton/year; CO2 – 58,366 ton/year; PM – 6.25 ton/year.

Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of July 2020. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
