AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Appalachian Aggregates, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Modification to G40-C013D Permit for their Beckley Plant for the replacement of the raw feed system. Additionally, the hourly rates of the replaced equipment will increase. The facility is located in Mount Hope in Raleigh County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 37.858582 and -81.249938.
The applicant estimates that there will be no increase in the yearly potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants: PM, PM10, and PM2.5. The new equipment will be subject to the revised 40CFR60 Subpart OOO requirements.
The facility will begin operating under this permit upon issuance which is expected to be on September 15, 2019. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
