Notice is given that The Chemours Company FC, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Class II Administrative Update for a Plastic Compounding and Extrusion Line located on DuPont Road in or near Parkersburg in Wood County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39.270556 N, 81.672778 W
The applicant estimates the Increased potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: +0.126 tons/year PM10, +0.53 tons /year VOC, +0.095 tons/year Hydrogen Fluoride Vapor (HAP), + 0.148 tons/year Greenhouse gases (GHG), +0.08 tons/ear CO2, and +0.579 tons/year of non-regulated gaseous materials
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 15th day of August, 2018. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
