APPLICATION TO CLOSE
UNUSED PORTION OF
KISKA LANE
SUNRISE ADDITION, CITY OF OAK HILL, WEST VIRGINIA

A verified Application to Close an Unused Portion of Kiska Lane located in the Sunrise Addition to the City of Oak Hill, West Virginia has been filed by Patricia Annette Keith seeking to close a portion of the street located at the end of Kiska Lane situated within the corporate limits of the City of Oak Hill.

The Application contains the following statements in support thereof, to-wit:
— The portion Kiska Lane sought to be abandoned has never been constructed or maintained by anyone, including the City of Oak Hill, the West Virginia Department of Highways or anyone else.
— The real estate owned by the Applicant a) is located on three (3) sides of the portion of Kiska Lane sought to be abandoned in this proceeding, b) lies completely within the boundary lines of the Applicant and c) lies at the end of Kiska Lane which is a dead end street, and d) has not been used in the past by any owner within the Sunset Addition except by the Applicant and the prior owners of the Applicant’s property.
— The Application is verified by the Applicant and “Exhibit A” attached to the Application describes the portion of Kiska Lane sought to be abandoned.

The FIRST READING of the Application will be conducted by the Town Council for the City of Oak Hill, West Virginia on March 9, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. and the SECOND READING of the Application will be conducted on April 13, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Hall for the City of Oak Hill, located at 100 Kelly Avenue, Oak Hill West Virginia 25901.
