ACCEPTING BIDS FOR A VHF P25 DIGITAL
COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
The Clay County Commission will be accepting sealed bids on the purchase and installation of a complete VHF P25 digital communications system. The System shall consist of 6, 100 watt repeater systems with antenna systems, mobile radios, portable radios, and control stations, and FCC licensing. Successful bidder will be responsible for the engineering, programming, installation, and training on the new system. All equipment must meet the standards set forth by DHS CAP testing, and be listed on the approved equipment list for grant eligible equipment. A copy of the project and the equipment needed, may be obtained from the Clay County Clerk’s Office at 246 Main St., Clay, WV 25043. All bidders must be a licensed WV business, insured with a general liability policy and have worker’s compensation coverage. Bids will be accepted until 10 a.m. on August 25th, 2021. The Clay County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any and or all bids.

The Clay County Commission is an equal opportunity employer. Bidders must be licensed to do business in the state of WV, and be in good standing. They must also be covered by a general liability insurance policy, and worker’s compensation. The successful bidder must be able to maintain the equipment they sell. All equipment must be of current production and have the current version of firmware/software installed. Bidders must be an authorized Zetron dealer, and able to perform the interface and programming of the current Zetron equipment. The Clay County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject and or all bids. The bid may or may not be awarded to the lowest bidder. Commissioners will look at all aspects of the bids before making a final decision. The bidding period will begin on August 2, 2021, and end at 10 a.m. on August 25, 2021. All bids will be opened and reviewed on August 25, 2021 at 10 a.m., in the Commission Room, at 246 Main St., Clay, WV 25043.
