The purpose of this meeting is to establish a meeting and appointment schedule for those persons having objections to their Assessments. Therefore, individuals must contact the Assessor’s Office to schedule an appointment before the time period expires:

Any person having questions about Mineral Accounts or Values must make an appointment for February 18, 2016, so that they can talk with a representative from the State Tax Department.
Chapter 11, Article 3, Section 24 of the WV Code states the following: “if any person fails to apply for relief at this meeting, he or she shall have waived their right to ask for corrections in their assessment for the current year, and shall not thereafter be permitted to question the correctness of his or her list as final fixed by the Circuit Court.
