Williamson Shriver Architects Project 2021-049
The Tucker County Board of Education, Parsons, WV, will receive bids for Phase Two Exterior Door Replacement to Davis-Thomas Elementary Middle School until 1:30 p.m. local prevailing time on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the office of the Tucker County Board of Education, 100 Education Lane, Parsons, West Virginia 26287, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud unless modified due.
A Pre-Bid Conference, for General Construction, has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at the school at 250 Quail Ridge Rd, Thomas, WV 26292.
The contract documents including plans and specifications are on file at the Office of the Board of Education; Office of Williamson Shriver Architects, 717 Bigley Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302.
The contract documents can be made available by emailing [email protected]. Addenda will be only distributed electronically to bidders registered with the architect.
Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for their Bid to be considered. Each Bidder’s registration certificate number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal.
All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each Bidder’s Contractor license number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal.
A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the Tucker County Board of Education, shall be submitted with each Bid.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and the fee for same shall be included in their bid.
