The Clay County Board of Education is now accepting applications for Substitute Custodians. Applications may be picked up at the Board of Education Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. For more information contact Mike Mullins at 587-4266.
Position : Substitute Custodian
Qualifications: All applicants must have high school
diploma or GED. Selected applicants must successfully pass the required WV School Employees Competency Test for Custodians
Responsibilities: Substitute Custodian will keep buildings
clean and free of refuse and grounds (mowing,
weed eating), operate heating and cooling
systems, make minor repairs, must be able to
lift a minimum of 50 pounds, and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
Terms of Employment: As needed
Compensation: State Basic Salary
