CLASS II LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT
REQUEST FOR ARCHITECT/ENGINEER STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuant to West Virginia Code 5G-1-3 and the requirements of the School Building Authority of WV (SBA), the Tucker County Board of Education is seeking Expressions of Interest and Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide professional Architectural / Engineering services for the following:
1. Exterior Door and Window Renovations and Waterproofing for the Building Enclosures at Davis-Thomas Elementary Middle
School and Tucker County High School and Vocational School or
otherwise known as Tucker County Schools CEFP Priority Projects.
2. Any emergency projects due to water, fire and weather.
3. As funds become available for non-SBA funded work Tucker
County Schools is interested in provisions for architectural and
engineering services toward fulfillment of building and ground
renovation, additions and upgrades. This commitment will be
re-evaluated on an annual basis but could be for up to five (5)
years for county funded projects
4. Any other SBA funded project not listed shall be advertised upon funding.
Interested firms should contact Jonathan Hicks (by email [email protected]) to request the full and complete Statement of Qualifications requirements package which provides detailed instructions for the content and format of the SOQ submission.
Statements of Qualifications must be received no later than June 4th, 2021 by 4:00 p.m. local prevailing time, at the office of the Tucker County Board of Education at 100 Education Lane, Parsons, WV and via email. In accordance with the requirements of WV Code 5G-1-3, these statements will be evaluated, and the county will conduct discussions with at least three firms which are deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required.
The Tucker County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all statements from interested firms and to make the award in any manner deemed to be in its best interest in accordance with WV Code 5G-1-3.
