To: KUTAY KADIR Calis and JAMES VENTERS
(The object of this action is to notify the Adult Respondent Fathers of a neglect and abuse petition herein filed so that said Fathers may answer the same to protect their interest.)
You are hereby notified that a neglect and abuse and/or abandonment petition has been filed with the Circuit Court of Clay County, West Virginia, on the 12th day of June 2015, and assigned Case Numbers 15-JA-39 and 40, wherein it is alleged that the fathers of Infant Respondent RC (DOB: 11/6/1997) and MC (DOB: 3/14/2002) are Kutay Kadir Calis and James Venters, and the Adult Respondent Mother, Michelle Cottrell, and that said Infant Respondents were placed in the custody of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources on the 12th day of June 2015, with said Infant Respondents remaining in the care, custody and control of the said Department since that time in accordance with WV Code §49-6-3. You are hereby notified that you have the right to answer said petition and you have the right to have counsel present at all stages of these proceedings and ALL PROCEEDINGS CAN RESULT IN THE PERMANENT TERMINATION OF CUSTODIAL AND PARENTAL RIGHTS TO SAID INFANT CHILD.
Accordingly, it is ORDERED that Kutay Kadir Calis and James Venters shall appear before the Honorable Jack Alsop on the 14th day of August 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Clay County Courthouse, 246 Main Street, Clay, West Virginia, otherwise judgment by default will be taken against them at any time thereafter, and termination of your custodial and parental rights may be ordered by the Court.
