NOTICE OF PUBLIC
COMMENT HEARING

On June 27, 2019, Page-Kincaid Public Service District filed an application for a Certificate for a water treatment plant rehabilitation project to replace old, outdated equipment to ensure function of the system and to ensure water quality to the residents of the Page-Kincaid PSD service area.

On August 9, 2019, the Public Service Commission of West Virginia issued an Order that granted a Petition to Intervene filed by West Virginia-American Water Company and established the procedural schedule for Page-Kincaid’s certificate application, including an evidentiary hearing in Charleston to begin on November 13, 2019.

Many Page-Kincaid customers have expressed concern to the Commission about the quailty of water service that they receive. The Commission will conduct a hearing at 2:30 p.m. October 22, 2019, at the Fayette County Courthouse Circuit Courtroom, 100 Court Street, Fayetteville, West Virginia, Fayette County, to receive public comment.

The Commission also will receive public comment in writing through mail addressed to Connie Graley, Executive Secretary, P. O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323, or by email through the “Submit a Comment” link on the Commission’s website, www.psc.state.wv.us. Both types of written public comment should be marked with the Case Number listed above.
