The Clay County Commission is accepting bids for replacement of the old courthouse roof and gutters, located at 201 Main Street, Clay, WV.
Applicants are required to have a WV Contractor’s license and 1 million dollars of liability insurance. Bids may be submitted to the Clay County Commission at 246 Main Street, PO Box 190, Clay, WV 25043. All bids must be sealed.
Briefly the work is described as removing and installing commercial shingles, metal flashing, repairing wood roof decking, installing 930 sq. feet of rubber membrane roof and 7,500 sq. feet of reinforced synthetic underlayment, install 3 plumbing vents and any other items found while inspecting courthouse roof prior to submitting bid. Contractor is to provide dumpsters for roof debris.
All work performed must be warranted for a period of 15 years.
Bids will be opened on June 24, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Clay County Commission meeting.
