Public Notification
Notice of Intent to File Application
The Town of Clay Municipal Water Division intends to file an application for federal assistance with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Rural Utilities Service. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the proposed project, the Water Storage Tank Replacement project would replace both the 126,000-gallon Lower Maysel and 20,000-gallon Upper Maysel water storage tanks that have outlived their useful life and are failing.
This notice is also to inform the public of a public meeting to be held on December 3rd, 2019 at 5:15 p.m. at the Town of Clay Town Hall and Water Plant. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity to become acquainted with the proposed project and to comment on economic and environmental impacts, service area, or alternatives to the project.
