CONTRACTOR’S PROPOSAL
NOTICE TO PAVING CONTRACTORS
PROJECT: Remove and replace asphalt at
the following:
1. Berkeley Springs High School
(North Parking Lot)
The Morgan County Board of Education invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the removal and replacement of asphalt in the North Parking Lot at Berkeley Springs High School. The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the project specifications.
All bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the Morgan County Board of Education Office, 247 Harrison Ave. Berkeley Springs, WV 25411 on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. to discuss the details of these projects. Project specifications will be distributed at this time, and bidders may examine the existing conditions to provide a competitive bid. Sealed bids will be received by the Morgan County Board of Education for the completion of projects until 2:00 p.m., Friday August 7, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids are to be submitted to the Morgan County Board of Education to the attention of Jeromy Duelley Assistant Superintendent, 247 Harrison Ave. Berkeley Springs, West Virginia 25411, and marked “Paving Bid” on the outside of the envelope.
Bidders are required to be bonded, hold a valid WV Contractor’s License, and provide proof of Liability Insurance and Worker’s Compensation coverage. The Morgan County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals and waive any informality in the process.
