PUBLIC NOTICE
In accordance with W. Va. Code § 11-3-24, notice is hereby given that the Monroe County Commission shall sit as the Board of Review and Equalization. The purpose of these sessions is to review and equalize assessments for all personal and real property for the 2026 tax year. Sessions will be held as follows
Friday January 30, 2026, 9:00 AM
Wednesday, February 4, 2026, 2:00 PM
Monday, February 9, 2026, 6:00 PM
Thursday, February 12, 2026, 9:00 AM
Tuesday, February 17, 2026 (Adjourn Sine Die), 9:00 AM
The hearings shall be held in the 911 Conference Room, located in the 911 Center behind the Courthouse. All hearings shall be by APPOINTMENT only by calling (304) 772-3096 extension 3.
