Qualifications
The Board of Education of the County of Ohio is seeking statements of qualifications for the following construction project support services:

1.Design Phase Services;
2.Bid Package Review;
3.Cost Estimating Services;
4.Constructability Reviews;
5.West Virginia School Building Authority Compliance;
6.Project Management;
7.Project Cost Tracking/ Reporting;
8.Change Order Analysis/ Review/Reporting;
9.Other construction project support services as deemed necessary by the Board of Education of the County of Ohio.

Minimum Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated understanding of all phases of commercial public school construction with a minimum of five (5) years of actual experience as a supervisor, foreman or clerk of the works for non-residential public construction projects. For design phases services; a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with West Virginia School Building Authority funded projects is required. For estimating and construction phase services; a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with West Virginia School Building Authority funded projects is required.

The Board of Education of the County of Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all requests, award the contract to a bidder other than the bidder with the low proposal, accept any or all alternates, waive irregularities and/or formalities, and in general to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole and absolute discretion, to be in the best interest of Ohio County Schools. The Board of Education of the County of Ohio reserves the right to terminate these services at any time upon providing thirty (30) days’ advance written notice of termination.

Written proposals may be submitted to Rick Jones, Assistant Superintendent of the Board of Education of the County of Ohio. At 2203 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003. All proposals are due by 10:00 am on December 4, 2019 and are to be marked Construction RFQ clearly.
