Public meetings will be conducted to describe proposed AML Economic Development Pilot Projects. The intent of these Pilot Projects is to alleviation of health, safety and environmental problems created by coal mines abandoned prior to August 3, 1977, while providing an opportunity for economic and community development end use. The following projects listed with county locations will be explained.

These projects will be submitted to the Federal Office of Surface Mining for funding consideration. Public meetings to explain the projects will be conducted as follows:
