Notice is hereby given that SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA ASPHALT, INC., PO BOX 544, 2950 CHARLES AVE., DUNBAR, WV 25064, has submitted an application for RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q004078 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, in order to remove limestone by conducting quarry operations. The operation is discharging into Left Branch of Mill Run of Cheat River and is located 4.0 miles West of Thomas in St. George District of Tucker County, Longitude 79° 35’ 30.000” and Latitude 39° 08’ 18.0000”.
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until May 20, 2016, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above AND in the Randolph County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
