Notice is hereby given that MARTIN MARIETTA MATERIALS, INC., 9277 CENTRE POINTE DR., WEST CHESTER, OH 45069, has submitted an application for RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q201489 to the Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, West Virginia 26416, in order to remove limestone by conducting quarrying operations. The operation is discharging to Brushy Fork Creek of Teeter Creek of Tygart Valley River and is located 6.5 miles west of ST. GEORGE in Clover District of Tucker Co., longitude 79° 49’ 34” and latitude 39° 11’ 50” (coordinates from USGS topographic map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until May 12, 2015, or thirty (30) days from the date of the publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above AND in the Tucker County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
