Notice is hereby given that R B S, INC., BOX 490, DRAWER S, WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV 24986-0000, has submitted an application for RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q301687 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, in order to remove limestone by conducting quarry operations.
The operation is discharging into unnamed subsurface tributaries of Greenbrier River and is located 2.6 miles, northwest of Frankford, West Virginia, in Lewisburg District of Greenbrier County, Longitude 80o 27’ 15” and Latitude 37o 53’ 37” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until May 25, 2020, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
