Notice is hereby given that WV RECLAIM CO, LLC, 2122 LEATHERWOOD ROAD, BICKMORE, WV 25019 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suit 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 for a Phase 1 release on Permit Number S200502 Increment Number 1 issued for 1507.94 acres.
The permit is located in Henry/Pleasant District of Clay County, 1.0 miles southeast of Bickmore on unnamed tributary of Rocklick Fork, Rocklick Fork and Cannel Coal Hollow of Right Fork of Leatherwood Creek of Elk River.
WV RECLAIM CO, LLC completed backfilling and regrading on 6/1/2016 and is requesting release of 60 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $825,920.00.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until 6/3/24, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
