Notice is hereby given that WV RECLAIM CO, LLC, 2122 LEATHERWOOD ROAD, BICKMORE, WV 25019 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 846.89 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S200697 to Coal Surface Mine in the Upper, Middle and Lower Kittanning, 5 Block, Clarion, Stockton and Upper and Lower Coalburg seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Franks Branch and Laurel Fork of Lilly Fork of Buffalo Creek of Elk River of Kanawha River and is located 5.95 miles, northeast of BICKMORE, West Virginia, in HENRY and GRANT Districts of Clay and Nicholas Counties, Longitude 81o 0’ 14” and Latitude 38o 23’ 37” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until July 4, 2022, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
