Notice is hereby given that KEYSTONE COAL RESERVES LLC, 335 W MAIN ST, LIGONIER, PA has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 136 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S200710 to Coal Surface Mine in the Brush Creek and Upper Freeport seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Monongahela River and is located 5.0 miles, northeast of Davis, in Davis District of Tucker County, Longitude 79° 23’ 45.0000” and Latitude 39° 10’ 45.0000” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until March 6, 2020, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until March 6, 2020, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above AND in the Tucker County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
