Notice is hereby given that SOUTHEASTERN LAND, LLC, 81 ENTERPRISE DR., DEBORD, KY 41214-9095 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 539 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S201298 to coal surface mine in the Kittanning, Clarion, Stockton, and Coalburg seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Sycamore Run and unnamed tributary of Lilly Fork and Lilly Fork of Buffalo Creek of Elk River and is located 6 miles, northwest of BICKMORE, in Henry/GRANT Summersville Districts of Clay and Nicholas Counties, Longitude 80° 59’ 2” and Latitude 38° 22’ 39” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
