Notice is hereby given that SCREAMING EAGLE COAL, LLC, 1245 22 MINE ROAD, HOLDEN, WV 25625, has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number U201495 in order to add approximately 2,750 acres of undergournd mining limits in the Eagle Seam.
The revised permit will discharge into Peachorchard Branch of Twenty Mile Creek of Gauley River of Kanawha River and is located 4.54 miles, northwest of DRENNEN, in Jefferson AND GRANT Districts of Nicholas County, Longitude 81° 3’ 18” and Latitude 38° 19’ 16” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
