Notice is hereby given that ROSE HOLDINGS LLC, 70 COLUMBIA BLVD, CLARKSBURG, WV 26301 has submitted an application Permit No. Q201489 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, in order to add underground mining to the current Article 4 quarry permit. Rose Holdings wants the option to conduct underground mining during months of the year when surface operations are not feasible.
The operation is discharging into Brushy Fork of Teter Creek of Tygart Valley River of Monongahela River and is located near Moatsville in Clover and District of Tucker County, Longitude 79°49’27.4” and Latitude 39°11’38.9” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Comments on the application shall be in writing and shall identify the applicant and application number and be sent to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) at the address above. Comments received by December 17, 2021, or thirty (30) days from date of initial publication, will be considered.
