Notice is hereby given that VINDEX ENERGY LLC, 100 TYGART DR, GRAFTON, WV 26354 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 for a Phase 3 release on Permit Number H049900 issued for 37.15 acres.
The permit is located in DAVIS District of Tucker County, 6.9 miles southwest of MOUNT STORM on Beaver Creek of Blackwater River of Blackfork of Cheat River and Morgan Run and Red Sea Run of Stony River of N. Potomac River.
VINDEX ENERGY LLLC completed final reclamation on 7/21/2020 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $44,000.00.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until September 18, 2020, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
