National Forest Grazing Allotments Offered for Permit
The District Ranger, Cheat/Potomac Ranger District, P.O. Box 368, Parsons, WV 26287 will be accepting sealed bids for permitted livestock grazing on the following Forest Service grazing allotments: Vickers and Wratchford Allotments located five miles south of Parsons along State Route 41(Government Rd.), until April 6, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. Bid openings will start promptly at 1 p.m. on April 7, 2015. One bidder will be awarded both allotments and the allotments are authorized 20 Animal Units total. An animal unit is defined as one adult cow with or without a nursing calf, a bull, steers, yearlings, or any combination. All bidders are welcome to attend bid opening. A prospectus of detailed information is available to the public and interested bidders from the office listed above.
