General Provisions of the bond agreement are as follows:
Bond Issue of the Board of Education of Hampshire County, WV Public School Bonds, Series 2021:
The issue was authorized by the voters of the Hampshire County Board of Education and ratified by the voters during the Primary Election held on June 9, 2020 for the purpose of the construction of three new elementary schools, the construction of a gymnasium at Capon Bridge Elementary, renovations at Hampshire High School and the demolition of existing elementary schools. The bonds were issued in the denominations of $26,200,000, bearing interest at the rates of 1.0% – 2.0%, payable semi-annually on the first days of December and June.
