IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER
MONITORING REQUIREMENTS NOT MET FOR
MANNINGTON PSD – WV3302512
We are required to monitor your drinking water on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not our drinking water meets health standards. Between 1/1/2017 and 12/31/2019, we failed to submit the required samples as indicated below and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water during that time.
What should I do?
There is nothing you need to do at this time.
The table below lists the required monitoring and the compliance period.

What happened? What is being done?
The above paragraph is not completely accurate. Mannington PSD did test your water and the water quality was good. We did, however, fail to send all paperwork in. We sent only the 90th percentile. That is why you received your violation letter. Once we sent out the violation letter and send paperwork to the state, we will be back in compliance.
For more information, please contact Dave Smith at 304-986-1010 or P.O. Box 205, Mannington, WV 26582.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.
