NOTICE OF HEARING
TRANSFER OF SEWER SYSTEM TO MERCER COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT

Pending before the Court is a joint motion of the Town of Matoaka Special Receiver Phillip B. Ball and the Mercer County Public Service District for the Town of Matoaka to transfer to the Mercer County Public Service District the sewer system of the Town, including all facilities, easements, rights-of-way, accounts receivable, funds and related assets.

A hearing before the Court on the proposed transfer will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 1:30 o’clock p.m. before the Honorable Mark E. Wills, Judge of the Circuit Court. Anyone affected by the transfer agreement or anyone objecting to the proposed transfer may file written statements of protest to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Mercer County, West Virginia, prior to the hearing or attend the hearing.
