NOTICE OF PUBLICATION
Notice to any unknown/putative father of the above baby girl, K. C., born on or about 06/19/2025, in Ohio, and baby boy, D. J, born on or about 07/24/2023 in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, Raleigh County, West Virginia.
Notice is hereby given that verified Petitions of Adoption were filed in Mercer County Circuit Court on said children, which will request that the unknown or putative father's parental rights be terminated. The putative father of D.J. is believed to be a Christopher Johnson. The father of D.J. is believed to be unknown. You, as either putative or unknown father, are notified the rights may be terminated in the proceeding and you may appear and defend your rights within thirty (30) days from the first publication of this notice. You are also notified that your parental rights will be likewise simultaneously terminated in Raleigh County Abuse Case 41-2025-JA-55, 73 should you fail to respond. Further, if you shall fail to respond within the required time after service, you may not appear in or receive further notice of the adoption proceedings. The Court presiding over this matter is the Circuit Court of Mercer County, Mercer County Courthouse, Princeton, WV. Response shall be made to the clerk below. A copy of said Petition and Order can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk.
