NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Fairmont-Marion County Regional Airport Authority will receive proposals for Contract 2015-03 until 1:00 PM on August 13,2015. The proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:00 PM the same day on August 13,2015 at the Fairmont Municipal Airport 1150 Airport Road, Fairmont, WV 26554.
Contract 2015-03 includes: Construct T-Hangar Building.
The drawings, specifications and other contract documents are on file and open to the public for inspection during normal business hours at the office of the OWNER, Fairmont-Marion County Regional Airport Authority, 1150 Airport Road, Fairmont, WV 26554. The prospective Bidder is encouraged to contact Tom Mainella for review of documents at 304-282-5289 for information on where the documents are located within their office and any special procedures for accessing the documents. These documents are also available for review at the office of the ENGINEER, CDI- Infrastructure, LLC dba L.R. Kimball 615 West Highland Avenue Ebensburg, PA 15931814.472.7700. Contract documents, proposal forms and drawings may be obtained from the ENGINEER, upon deposit of $ 100.00, this amount is non-refiindable. A Pre-Bid Meeting for Contract 2015-03 is scheduled for July 28,2015 at 10:00 AM at the Airport Conference Room at the Fairmont Municipal Airport.
Bids shall be prepared and submitted on the prescribed forms in accordance with instructions contained in the instructions to Bidders and General Provisions (Section 20) Divisions of the Project Manual. The Fairmont-Marion County Regional Aiiport Authority expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the same. Each bidder must deposit with his/her proposal a bid security in an amount equal to at least 5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of his/her Base Bid. Said security shad be in the form and subject to the conditions given in Section 20 of the General Previsions. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Successful bidders, must enter into the Agreement and furnish a Contract Bond and evidence of required insurance with fifteen (15) days after notification acceptance of such proposals, all as more specifically required in the Contract Documents.
Wages as predetermined by the West Virginia State Prevailing Wage Rates at the time of the bid opening shall be used by the CONTRACTOR in paying labor in connection with the work under this contract.
