INVITATION FOR BIDS INSULATION INSTALL The Mingo County Commission, 78 East 2nd Ave, Room 308, Williamson, Mingo County, West Virginia is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to install new insulation around all plumbing in the Mingo County Courthouse. The project includes the installation of approximately 6,000 feet of insulation. A mandatory pre-bid meeting to view the project will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 20, 2026, in Room 136 of the Mingo County Courthouse. Bids will be accepted by hand delivery to Leigh Ann Ray, project manager, at her office located on the third floor of the main courthouse, Room 308-B, or by U.S. mail addressed as follows: Nathan Brown, Mingo County Commission president; Attention: Leigh Ann Ray; 78 East Second Ave., Room 308-B, Williamson, WV 25661. Bids will be accepted until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Mingo County Commission regular meeting session scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2026. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope "BIDDER – PIPE WRAPPING PROJECT". The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities on the proposal process. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 30 days of the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder must be licensed to do business in West Virginia, provide proof of all insurances and other required coverages, and will enter into a contract agreeable to the Mingo County Commission and the commission's insurance provider.
