Invitation To Bid
The owner of the Beverly Flats is requesting bids for the repair or replacement of the roof at 127 Washington Street, Charles Town. The project consists of removing the existing metal roof and installing a rubber roof. Additional work may include repairing or replacing the existing metal roof as well as gutters and downspouts.
The project completion date is no later than September 30, 2015 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
