INVITATION TO BID The Fayette County Commission is requesting a bid for masonry restoration for the Fayette County Courthouse in Fayetteville, West Virginia. The project includes cleaning and repointing of existing above grade masonry. The project completion date is no later than 31 May 2016 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. The bid package is available by calling (304) 574-4290. The property will be open for a mandatory pre-bid walk through on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015, 10:00 a.m. All bids must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015.
