INVITATION TO BID
The Owner of McElhenney Lodge in Lewisburg will be receiving sealed bids from contractors registered in the State of West Virginia for the Lodge’s Roof Replacement until Weds., Feb. 15th 2017 at Noon, local time. They will be time/date stamped by Owner’s office. Address envelope to John Wooton, Wooton, Davis, Hussell and Ellis, Re: MCELHENNEY LODGE ROOF BID, 201 N. Kanawha St., Beckley, WV 25801. Bids will be opened at 1:00 PM on Weds., Feb. 15th, 2017.
The project includes the removal and disposal of the existing roof, structural modifications, and the deck work associated with the mentioned. Install new EcoStar Majestic Slate and EPDM rubber roof material per material manufacturer’s specifications. Clean, prime and seal all seams and end laps of rubber with overlap as recommended by manufacturer.
The contractor must provide, with the bid, proof of completion of three similar projects within the past 10 years that have complied with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standard’s for Rehabilitation. The contractor must also prove that they have the ability to complete the project in a timely manner (on or before May 30th, 2017) and has appropriate licenses (local and otherwise) and insurances.
A mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held at McElhenney Lodge, 155 Church St, Lewisburg, WV 25801 on Weds., Jan. 18th at 1:00 PM.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to negotiate with the lowest qualified bidder and to waive any informality in a bid or to reject an informal bid if necessary.
