INVITATION TO BID E911 CENTER RENOVATION Mingo County Commission is seeking sealed bids for renovation of the Mingo County E911 Center. A full request for proposals (RFPs) is available by contacting Mingo County E911 Director Doug Goolsby at: [email protected]. All bids must meet the criteria set for in the RFP and be submitted to: Mingo County Commission Attention: Leigh Ann Ray 78 East 2nd Ave., Room 308-B Williamson, WV 25661 All bids must be received no later than 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026. Bids will be opened and read allowed during a regular county commission meeting that begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026. Each qualified contractor shall contact Goolsby, or Lorene Vance, E911 deputy director, via email at [email protected] to arrange a mandatory pre-bid tour of the facility prior to bid submission. Any bid submitted by a company that did not participate in a pre-bid tour will not be considered. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to award the bid for the project based upon certain criteria, including but not limited to, submitted bid price, references, experience and/or any other factors determined to be in the best interest to the completion of the contract. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and waive any informality during the bidding process.
