INVITATION FOR BIDS
TAZEWELL COUNTY, VIRIGNIA
LEACHATE TANK SEDIMENT REMOVAL AND CLEANING
The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors is accepting sealed bid from qualified contractors to perform sediment removal and cleaning of a Leachate Tank, located at the Tazewell County Landfill, 301 Landfill Lane, North Tazewell, Virginia 24630. Please read the following instructions carefully:
(1) Bid packets will only be accepted from contractors who have attended the mandatory pre-bid conference, which will be held October 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
(2) The pre-bid conference will be held at the Tazewell County Landfill, located at 301 Landfill Road, North Tazewell, VA 24630.
(3) A package containing additional information and requirements will be provided at the pre-bid conference.
(4) Bids will be opened on October 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
(5) The bid should clearly be marked on the outside “Leachate Tank Sediment Removal and Cleaning” and addressed to Kenneth E. Dunford, Jr., Interim Director of Engineering, whose address is located at 173 Main Street, Tazewell, VA 24651.
(6) Without exception, bids delivered after this date and time will not be accepted.
(7) Tazewell County reserves the right to reject all bids; waive informalities; and accept the bid that is in the best interests of Tazewell County.
