PUBLIC SALE
The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) located at 400 Lee St., North, Lewisburg, WV 24901, will conduct a public sale of surplus items, by sealed, written bid. The items for sale can be viewed from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during work hours only.
Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic and to comply with WVSOM’s current guidelines, all
Bidders are required to wear a mask to enter building to view items. Social Distancing is required; therefore, only five (5) bidders will be permitted in Maintenance/Receiving Building at a time.
Viewing of items will begin 12:00 noon Monday, October 19, 2020 and endat 10:00 a.m. on October 30, 2020. Please contact Ernest Piercy at (304) 647-6212 for an appointment to view numbered items for sale. Prospective bidders must obtain a bid sheet and must complete one bid sheet for each different item. For your convenience a date/time stamp machine and locked drop box will be available for bidders to time/date their bid (s) and place in lock box. WVSOM will begin receiving bids on October 19, 2020. Due to the pandemic, written sealed bids may be dropped off in the Contracts/Purchasing Office until 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2020 in the Contracts/Purchasing Office, Room A-221 marked Attn: Jennifer Freeman or in the Receiving Building (U100). Bids will be tabulated and awards will be made to the highest bidder. The successful bidder(s) will be contacted and all items shall be paid for and picked up by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020.Wearing masks and practicing social distancing is required while on campus to make payment. Payment will be required before the property can be removed. WVSOM WILL ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, CASH, and CHECKS FOR PAYMENT OF SURPLUS SALE ITEMS. ALL ITEMS NOT PAID FOR BY 4:00 P.M. ON NOVEMBER 13, 2020 WILL VOID AWARDED BID.
