AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Republic Energy, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a General Permit Modification for an coal processing facility be located off Clear Fork Road, Workman Creek Road near Dorothy in Raleigh County, West Virginia. The location coordinates for the facility are: latitude 37.884225 and longitude -81.374998.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants from operations will be: Controlled particulate matter emissions of 1454 tons per year (TPY), of which 1420 TPY are fugitive; controlled particulate matter less than 10 micron emissions of 426 TPY, of which 411 tons per year are fugitive.
Startup of operation is planned to begin upon permit approval. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
