Notice is hereby given that Marfork Coal Company, LLC, P.O. box 457, 370 Packsville/Marfork Road, Whitesville, WV 25209 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number U301209 in order to add approximately 1120 acres of mineral reserve.
The revised permit will discharge into Workman Creek of Clear Fork and Wingrove Branch of Sandlick Creek of Marsh Fork all of Big Coal River of Coal River of Kanawha River and is located 2.34 miles southwest of Clear Creek in the Clear Fork District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81°22’-27” and Latitude 37°52’43”| (coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
