The Fayette County Commission (OWNER) invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for a new HVAC System at the Fayette County Courthouse, Courtroom. Sealed bids will be received at the offices of the Fayette County Commission located at the Fayette County Courthouse, 100 N. Court Street, Ste. 2, Fayetteville, WV 5840, until 3:00 p.m., local prevailing time, on Tuesday October 15, 2024. These bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at a regularly scheduled County Commission meeting on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 9:15 a.m. The work of this project consists of the following Lump Sum contract:
Installation of A New Mechanical System: 10-ton, 3 phase, commercial roof AC Unit; 10-ton air handler. And the removal and disposal of the existing system at the Fayette County Courthouse, Courtroom. Please detail any additional services needed for the installation and removal listed, and include these costs in your Lump Sum Bid.
NOTE: Commencement of physical work on this project shall take place as weather is conducive to removal of the exiting HVAC system without the requirement of heat.
Site inspections may be scheduled by calling 304-574-4290 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. M-F, excluding state & federal holidays.
The parties to whom Contracts are awarded will be required to execute the Agreement and obtain the required Performance Bonds and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds within ten (10) calendar days from the date of Notice of Award. These parties are also responsible for any required permits.
The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any Bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the OWNER and the Bidder.
