Notice is hereby given that MIDLAND TRAIL RESOURCES, LLC, 100 BILL BAKER WAY, BECKLEY, WV 25801 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for a significant permit revision of Article 3 Permit Number I073300 in order to change the post mining land use from Woodland and Wildlife to heavy industrial in order to facilitate continued use of the scales, loadout, and office buildings associated with this operation.
The revised permit with discharge into Little Clear Creek of Kanawha River and is located 3.0 miles, northeast of Rupert, WV in Meadow Bluff District of Greenbrier County, Longitude 8038’51” and Latitude 3757’48” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at
