Petition for consent and approval for the imposition of a moratorium on the utility system.
PUBLIC NOTICE
On 10/16/2024, the Town of Rivesville filed a petition with the Public Service Commission for approval of the imposition of a moratorium on Rivesville’s Water system serving system serving William Smith Rd.. If approved, the moratorium would mean that no new customers could be served by the utility in these areas until the Commission lifts the moratorium. The Town of Rivesville claims that the imposition of a moratorium is appropriate because Undersized main line with an already large customer base.
