Notice is given that Cornerstone Processing, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G10 General Permit Modification for a coal preparation and processing plant or coal handling operation located on Rt. 13, near McComas, in Mercer County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: (Lat:
37.39194°, Long: -81.30056°. The applicant estimates the Total particulate matter (PM) emissions of 253.58 tons per year, of which 237.62 tons per year are fugitive emissions and Total PM10 emission of 78.01 tons per year, of which 70.50 tons per year are fugitive emissions.
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of December 1, 2024. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days
from the date of publication of this notice.
