NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice that, in accordance with the provisions of Article V. Section 506(a) of The Charter of the City of Fairmont, the Council of the City of Fairmont will conduct public hearings on the following proposed FY26 budgets:

The public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. or as soon as practical on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Council Chambers at the Public Safety Building, 500 Quincy St., Fairmont, WV. Any interested person may appear before Council and be heard regarding said proposed budget.
A public hearing on the Capital Improvement Budget will be held at the same time.
Copies of the budget and accompanying budget message are available for inspection by the public during normal business hours in the City Manager’s Office, 3rd Floor, J. Harper Meredith Bldg., 200 Jackson St., Fairmont, WV.
After a public hearing, Council shall, by Resolution, adopt the budget with or without amendment.
